The Hogs and Heroes Foundation is committed to raising money for the children of Police Officers and Firefighters killed in the line of duty. Money raised through Registration/Admission Fees, Event Shirt Sales and donations are given directly to charities that support the education of children of Police Officers and Firefighters killed in the line of duty. The Foundation also makes donations to United States Military Veterans Charities and other community based charitable organizations.
Event staff members and workers are all 100% volunteer and reflect no cost factor, or recieve any compensation.
We are happy to announce the formulation of The Hogs and Heroes Foundation. On January 14, 2010 we formed the foundation, to expand our ability to deliver services to a wider range of deserving charitable organizations. With the formulation of the foundation, we have also expanded the annual fundraiser to include a Motorcycle and Car Show. With the help of our sponsors, we hope to make this year's event the best yet.
While we will continue to support great organizations such as HEROES Inc., we look forward to the challenge of helping other charitable organizations. In our endeavor to expand our ability to give, we ask that you consider becoming a sponsor. Sponsorship donations make it possible to host our annual fundraiser and ensure that every dollar donated by fundraiser participants goes directly to the charities we support. This year, all the money raised in registration for the show and poker run event will again be donated to HEROES Inc. The money raised from the sale of 50/50 tickets will be donated to the Benedictine School in Ridgley, Maryland.
